During the summer, I love watching lush green plants grow, so this winter I decided to propagate succulents indoors! While succulents usually grow best in spring and summer, mine are already doing well on a sunny windowsill.

I even found a vintage honey jar at a thrift store and turned it into the most adorable DIY planter. Indoor plant propagation, recycled containers, and a little sunlight can bring so much joy during the winter months 🥰🌿

Rose gardens 🌹they make me think of my favorite Robert Frost poem, The Rose Family.

I love to make rose water, here’s an easy way to do it:

Simmer organic, fragrant rose petals in water for about 20-30 minutes or until the rose petals lose their color. You want to simmer them on very low heat. Then you just strain the rose petals out of the water, compose the rose petals, and store the water in a refrigerator :)

I love making flower bouquets! I’ve learned that to keep the flowers fresh in the vase, you should remove all the lower leaves that would get in the water. If the leaves are in the water they’ll start to mold and turn the water bad which will kill the flowers. 🌸
