okay the villain in challengers isn’t anyone. its tennis

think about they all loved tennis at different capacities in the film. tashi too much, patrick too little, and art lost his love for it. thats what hurt their relationships with each other. the tennis doesn’t just represent sex, its a metaphor for love and passion. patrick only loved it when it was convenient. art loved it too much and it burnt him out. and tashi loved it so much she got hurt. the way all their relationships crumbled. tashi loved patrick too much, and she got hurt because he didn’t love her enough. tashi didn’t love art enough and he loved her too much and it burnt him out.
