Work in progress — Finally, (on the second attempt) , I’ve woven past the mouth and moustache of the young man in the portrait section of my tapestry. The dark, moody tones demand a lot of attention, and using hatching in a portrait has been more challenging than I anticipated. Still, I’m beginning to sense how the rest might unfold… (fingers crossed). Wool and embroidery cotton 12dpi

Finally !! Finished weaving this tapestry ..

Title “ Balancing Act”. 63 cm x 53 cm. Wool and Cotton on Cotton warp 12dpi. Took longer than expected ( 6 months ) I’m pleased (and relieved) with the finished piece.

Finished my latest tapestry of a letter form - so far l but inspired by part of a collage piece I made a few years ago - My aim was to make it look bold, sharp and crisp and have the vibe of concrete poetry.

Lake, forest and mountain. My second Obersee tapestry

Finally finished my second tapestry inspired by the lake Obersee – This time I wanted to create a piece which had it’s own personality – like a totem or Talisman for the lake and it’s environment – Here are some pictures of the final piece on the loom.
