That blog is pretty much like a pack of my own fanarts/thoughts/writing/self insert on fandoms, there ain't real path in it. And it will have a lot of random things in it.
English isn't my first language so I excuse myself If I make any mistakes.
When I have to draw animalistic/monster/complex non human creatures : Yippee it's gonna be so fun and challenging, I'm gonna try my best and draw them with as much love and care I can 💛💛
When I have to draw human/anthropomorphic beings : Oh my f*ck, what is this f*cking piss of f*cking dumb sh*t, that's so freaking annoying!
100% when Hino cuddles and naps with Dope or Palm and they need to go to do important things they text each other. I mean if Palm cuddles with Hino and she needs to quit to do smtg else she'll text Dope and ask if he finished his administration to take over. And vice versa.
And when Hino wakes up he's confused, cos what do you mean it's not the same person next to him after the nap ?

Geran is a Kangal dog and Palm' Father, born from a father half lion/kangal and a kangal mother. He never really managed to accept the fact that he had hybrid blood and the duty of being a dog. He's kinda shy and reserved and has some problem with socialisation some times.
He has an obedient personnality, even for the baddest personn, which leaded him to take bad decisions to please people.
That's how he ended up with his ears cropped. He agreed of being a subject for an experiment over dog appearance. He didn't wanted to do it but the directors of the experiment were so insistent he didn't know how to say no.
That operation should have made him more attractive and more "kangal like" for the eye of society but the result was that people founded him more scary. Now it was hard to understand his attitude and read his body langage. And females, in fact, didn't appreciate his appearance.
During another date with a potential female at a bar, she excused herself saying she had forgotten about a meeting and just leaved him. He puts his hands on his face, desperate and used to it. But that's when another female asks if she could sit herself at his table. He upped his head and it wasn't a Kangal in front of him but a black Newfoundland with a genuine smile.
That's how he met Palm's mother and they fell deeply in love.
She taught him how to relax and be himself without being ashamed. How to let the ocean lift his scratched body and just lying on the ground lookind at the sky.
Palm's father was the protector of the same herbivore group his grandparents used to guard. He was sportive and his job was to protect them against any dangerous carnivores. Prooves all the scars he wears and the prothesis he has over one of his legs.
But even with these handicaps he was happy, with his wonderful wife, his kids, his job ect... everything was quite great. He had finally found peace.
But that was until Palm's mother accident and her death.
She was killed by a polar bear during an outing with Palm and some friends. After that event Geran kinda went paranoïac and was so scared of loosing his daughters, he decided to teach Palm how to fight, for her to be able to protect herself and her little sister. Her little sister was too young to be trained so her father gave all his attention towards Palm. But he was so afraid of her to be killed, he overworked his daughter with these trainings and was rough with her. Which didn't help their relationship and even lead him to be way too hard over her.
He was so scared of loosing his kids he didn't even realize he was the one hurting them.
And so it pursue for some years. In the end Palm was the only one her father trained, she learned martial arts, how to hunt, how to react and survive in perilous placed etc... But it was never enough for her father. He thought he always had something to teach her and didn't saw the progress or strenght she had for now.
By the way an unexpected event happened and changed everything. And that event is... that Palm's father met a sheep lady and... they fell in love... together...
That sheep lady was soft and attentive over the girls, she had kids herself and didn't realize at the beginnin how Geran acted towards his daughter. At first she thought ; Oh well they have their little daughter-father sportive moment, they're kangal, it's their habitude, everything is fine.
The more the weeks and months passed, she started suspecting things. But she loved Geran and even if he was a bit associable sometimes, he had good sides.
However one day Geran went too far. So far the whole house heard Palm's scream of pain. And she discovered everything. She took care of the situation and forced Geran to stop those sessions and get to therapy. She gets Palm to therapy too, and the little sister too.
Thanks to her reaction the fight sessions ended up. Palm, her father, her little sister, her grandparents started talkin more and did their best to find peace.
He finally let Palm playin music and he accepted her left for Japan to start her career.
Now don't be lured, their relationship has scars and it will always be a little hard to spend a week of vacation together without having those memories back, and chills in the spine when their eyes met too long.
Palm will always be a bit stressed when she has to review her father after a long moment. And he will always have this sadness when he see Palm figure, so similar to her mother's one.
Now if I had to summary his character I'd say Geran has a tragic backstory, he suffered from depression for a long time and was a victim of destiny and society will. Which is sad and make him a compassionable character, that's true. But there's also a part of his actions that created several trauma to his kids. When he should have been there for them and not fall into paranoia instead. He should have asked for his parents help and people around him.
Just because he has a tragic story doesn't excuse his acts, it makes them comprehensible ofc, but he still had a problematic attitude.
And it's also the fault of society for not helping him when he needed it.
Geran is a mix of a good and a bad father. His relationship with his daughters will never be like before but if he wants to keep it, he's must understand who he is and who he was before to move forwards.
Guys I think I won't be much on Tumblr this month due to artfight (already did 6 attacks, working on the seventh). There won't be much beastars nor lmk content for the next few weeks but at the end of the month I will post my artfight pieces (not to boast but some are quite cool 😌)
Will join artfight this year and thought it was the right time to show one of the creatures I like to draw outside fandom art, and I used to do for my art courses. They don't have a name yet, and are some kind of fearful marine beast that lives in the abysses, despite its gigantic form they mainly eat small organisms. They produce nacreous light with different parts of their body and are one of the only sources of enlightenment down there. They're quietfull and calm creatures that avoid combat and agitation.
Their body might be a bit tricky to draw and I won't mind if people don't draw him, but I love them very much and will put them in my list nonetheless

Listening to this, reminded me that my dad wanted to learn saxophone 🎷 but the damn instrument is expensive af
But it also made me think about Palm ( @garnet-cow ), she would try something like this and the boys would make her upload it on the internet for more animals to hear cause it just sounded that good
Rain would definitely download the song above and listen to it a lot, the sound it gives just makes you feel so many things
Totally feel like this could be one of the musics she plays on her social. For once she'd concentrate herself on her saxophone and make some pieces with it, maybe to show the boys how you handle it and as she does her little presentation she ends up ; "Damn! I really need to make a song with my saxophone Right Now!"
So in the end it's Palm, Krios, Barbara and Li Wei that I would show this year, I'll see if I'm able to add Ophelia or Hatsuka to the list, I'd like to have at least one human oc in my list.
