This self portrait is out of control and I like it. (Goodnight, for real this time.) Man... Definitely stepped into unfamiliar territory with this one tonight. Tried experimenting with a new sketch style/coloring method, channeling the wisdom hands of Don Heck, Basil Gogos, Basil Wolverton, etcetera, but these dudes perfected something I still have a lot to learn about. WEEK ONE, DAY 3 #wizardwar2016 GRUNT: If you ask my friends, I'm a warlock of equality, so being that I am, I decided to let my grunt choose a name for himself. He chose "Gargasmoth." He isn't the always the cleanest, but he's thrifty and the quickest pair of giant muscle hands you'll ever meet. Gargasmoth always manages to snag some memento from each battle, sometimes a weapon, sometimes armor, but usually their food. The armor doesn't always fit his ape-ish frame, but you gotta love his tenacity and taste for fashion. #thingsyoufindinadungeon #grunt

WEEK ONE, DAY 2 #wizardwar2016 Secret Weapon: THE WARLOCK'S CHAINED ORB MACE! Bound to the warlock's arm is the enchanted Moldavite crystal orb and indestructible chain of Amazonium forged from the shield of Zeus. Each of the orbs five crystals serve a separate purpose (1. Moldavite crystal- fell from space as a meteor, most powerful crystal; 2. Herderite crystal- opens the user's third psychic eye; 3. Petalite crystal- to reduce anxiety and dissolve other's black magic; 4. Herkimer crystal- attunes user to activities such as vision quests; 5. Phenacite crystal- increases the power of any stone it is grouped with, responsible for enhancing the unknown powers of the Moldavite crystal into the center of the orb) but when combined with volts of electricity traveling through the chain to the center of the orb, all crystals vibrate together on the highest frequency. #thingsyoufindinadungeon
