#JackedKirby - Iron Man vs Titanium Man, Kirby Style!!! 💥💥💥 I really love the way Kirby drew Iron Man when he got the chance... he isn’t the best or most well known Iron Man artist (Heck or Milgrom probably get that nod) but he did a bunch of Iron Man covers for the split book Tales of Suspense that featured both Cap and Iron Man stories. This is #Issue71 of Tales of Suspense, published in November of 1965. 💥💥💥 Like most of the anthology books Jack did work on in the early 60s he would often pencil one of the features but also pull double duty and do the cover... even if it didn’t correspond to the interior story he penciled. This is the case here. He laid out the Cap story, which was penciled by George Tuska. The Iron Man story interiors were done by Heck... but Jack got the nod for the cover! 💥💥💥 Another reason I love this cover is because it was inked by the great Wally Wood. I love Wood inking Kirby... two classic Marvel artists working together always does it for me!!! 💥💥💥 #Kirby #KingKirby #JackKirby #IronMan #TalesOfSuspense #Comic #Comics #ComicBook #ComicBooks #60sComics #ComicsOfThe60s #IGComics #ComicsOfIG #TitaniumMan #WallyWood #DonHeck #TonyStark #Cap #CaptainAmerica https://www.instagram.com/p/B-VBmPGhOHC/?igshid=175iidzvjlwec
