It has been four years since I posted! But, I've been listening to Gary for 10 years as of this month, and I wanted to post on here and thank you guys for interacting with my posts. I was 15 when I started this tumblr so this is crazy.

Within those 10 years, Gary put out 2 albums, did Wembley again, did his 1000th show, Glastonbury, and even went viral on tiktok earlier this year. Being a younger fan, I am just glad I get to experience these moments.

He won't read this I know, but I want to thank him for being such a huge part of my life and tons of others. I first listened to his music when I was in high school, and I'm still super young, but his music will be with me until I die.

Gary's single Cars was released on this day 41 years ago.

Like most of you, Cars is what got me hooked. I remember being 15 and stumbling across this looking for another song on a Vice City playlist. I listened to it on loop for days. Then ventured out and listened to The Pleasure Principle and loved every track. Now, five years later, he is my favorite musician ever. I have seen 2 of his shows and met him twice. He changed my life.
