The Kings Oblivious Diamond (Servant! Gilgamesh x Master! Reader)
Warnings: I did some research but this is what Iβm assuming from the collab splash art, ooc, fem reader, Halovian reader, yeaner Gilgamesh, I havenβt watched the Fate series so this is how I assume heβs like, super oblivious reader, fluff(?), mentioned of Trailblaze, Archer, Saber, Aha, and Aventurine
According to the rules of the Holy Grail War, the servant you got would stay with you only till the end of the game. Well, that clearly wasnβt enough to stop Gilgamesh. The Grail War had just ended, the Trailblazer landing another victory. You had done well with Gilgamesh as your servant, and thought that was the last time youβd see him. Oh how wrong you were.
Gilgamesh, after taking a liking to you, has now decided to follow you around like a lost golden retriever. Youβve gotten used to his presence after a while, but there was just one small problem. He always seemed to spoil you with gifts. You asked Saber and Archer if this was normal, in which they replied, βJust leave him.β
Why leave him if his intentions so far seem generous?
You watched from afar as Gilgamesh took out a horde of Anti-Matter Legionaries who, as he said, βDared to cross paths with him!β His strength was admirable, you noted as he took out the last of them, dusting himself as he made his way back.
βAre you done staring, birdie?β He said, tossing a ruby necklace in your direction, "Take it, I found it with those worthless excuses of Destruction.β
βActually,β He paused, the Gates of Babylon opened behind him. He grabbed a few more jewels, handing them over to you. βTake those as well.β
βIsnβt this a bit too much-β You were interrupted mid-sentence as he ruffled your hair.
βToo much? Stop acting like a peasant and take it.β
Sighing in exasperation, you pocketed them and followed him as you made your way back to The Reverie.
βWait a minute, when did we make reservations here?β You questioned yourself as Gilgamesh made his way to the receptionist.
You watched as he spoke with the receptionist, handing them a stack of credits that could rival Aventurineβs wallet. The receptionist took one glance at the credits and immediately handed him a key without a thought.
Gilgamesh took the key and made his way over to you with a smug smile plastered on his face, βCome on, I paid for a room.β
βWhat room?β You asked in confusion as he made his way to the stairs.
βHow about you just stop asking questions and enjoy, birdie?β
You followed him reluctantly as he made his way to the best room in the entire Reverie.
βWait a minute, you only have one key.β You pointed out.
βYeah, and? Thereβs nothing wrong with sharing a room.β
βHe is so confusing..β You thought as he opened the door, your suitcases waiting by the desk.
Seems like this was planned ages ago.
Gilgamesh was slowly losing his sanity dealing with you. Not only are you oblivious to his gifts, you're now asking why he only paid for one room. He watched as you looked around the room, your wings fluttered in excitement once you spotted your favorite meal.
He had made sure to memorize everything you liked, disliked, and what irked you. What kind of servant would he be if he didnβt know his favorite master's personal details?
This time, he made sure everything was planned out perfectly. Scenery? Out of a movie. Annoyances? Never gonna hear from them again. He walked over to the couch and invited you to sit next to him. He watched your (color) eyes take in the room once more. After a while of comfortable silence, he decided to dive into the topic.
βImpressive, huh birdie?β
βYeah, how much did it cost?β
He clicked his tongue at the question, trying to move closer without making it obvious, βWho cares, itβs worth it for you.β
βWhat, is it my birthday or something?β
Gilgamesh mentally broke at that question, βALL THESE PREPARATIONS FOR THIS?!β
βIβm assuming thatβs a no..β
βWhatever, just eat.β
βDid I mess up..β You mentally questioned yourself as you began eating.
The room was amazing so far, youβd be lying if you said no, but you felt it was all too extra. Too much. You decided to focus on savoring the meal before you, the cost can wait.
After three excruciatingly long hours of Gilgamesh trying to not-so-subtly drop hints at his intention, you fell asleep on him. Your hair brushed against his cheek as you breathed in a synchronized pattern. Gilgamesh refused to move, not willing to risk his own comfort for yours. Hesitantly leaning in, he kissed the top of your head, burying his face in your hair. Once you woke up, he was definitely confessing. Even if Aha THEMself had to intervene to explain it to you THEMselves.
DONβT STEAL OR FEED TO AI.
