ok civil war is so old but i still think the funniest pro-accord justification is the debate that it’s about “government oversight” and we get comparisons to cops and how cops need accountability, and the avengers should too. like this is SO funny cuz cops are weaponized by the state (which steve was afraid of and the primary reason why he was against the accords), and cops are rarely held accountable for murder/excessive violence because the state doesn’t do anything about it! excuses them and turns a blind eye towards it!!! it’s funny cuz mcu and real life can’t really be directly compared but steve’s concerns is always valid in fiction or otherwise because it’s a universal constant that politicians and people with power are complete shit! read wikipedia, or wikileaks, of the amount of warcrimes that’ve been government sanctioned (us presence in vietnam, every major foreign presence in the middle east, etc!), like that would be the avengers fate 100% if steve had willingly went along with the accords and it’s so baffling that pro-accord fans think it’d be otherwise and use fucking COPS as a reason for government oversight.

Into The Spiderverse is proof that live-action superhero movies will never look better than what animation can deliver. Imagine what we could have if animation weren’t so regularly seen as a lower art form than live acting. Honestly, on every aesthetic level Into The Spiderverse was absolutely phenomenal. Art direction, animation, music - all of it.

I understand what you are saying in how in animation a persons imagination is the limits (and Spiderverse was totes amazing) , but like 90% of Marvel live action movies are CGI. So it’s legit just a stylistic choice that those movies are not amazingly stunning with groundbreaking visuals. It’s art- one medium is not better than the other it’s just how they are used.

it’s not so much stylistic choice, but stylistic limitation. live action is more confined into doing scenes that look believable, or believable enough where viewers can suspend their disbelief (note: every movie has to consider this, but when you feature in live actors, the bar is set much higher). in animation, it’s much more easy to have, for example, prowler’s fight sequences with his highly stylized movements and outfits. if you had a stuntman move the way prowler does, it’d just look ridiculous.
