I have a Lesbian friend. And I asked her yesterday if she came out yet she said “No. But I asked about what do they think about the gay community? Because they don’t know the term LGBTQ+” I looked at her with a very confused look and she went “They told me it’s not supposed to exist since god created Eve and Adam as first people and they are only male and female” I just nodded cause I mean that’s what we we’re taught in school, The next line she said was “I mean if lgbt is a sin and Adam and Eve ate a forbidden apple. Then basically LGBT+ was meant to be and they can’t do anything to change it.” I laughed my ass out at her cause it kinda made sense even with my slow brain process XD

The front of his vespa boasts a tag that reads ‘piaggio’.

According to Wikipedia; Piaggio & C. SpA is an Italian motor vehicle manufacturer, which produces a range of two-wheeled motor vehicles and compact commercial vehicles under seven brands: Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Derbi, and Scarabeo. Its corporate headquarters are located in Pontedera, Italy.

The name of Ercole’s boat is ‘Focaccia’ which translates to ‘Flatbread’.

During the films climax, the Portorosso cup (which is a race that Ercole has apparently won 5 times prior but it’s implied he only keeps winning because he’s competing with children) it appears that Ercole is a very talented bike rider.

He stood up on his bike like this for a pretty impressive amount of time. All with the intent of harpooning our heroes. Maybe not the best motivation. But still.

The song playing on Ercole’s radio when he first appears is ‘Andavo A Cento All'ora’ by Gianni Morandi. The title translates to ‘I Was Going A Hundred Miles Per Hour.’ In which the lyrics claim that Morandi, a male singer, is rushing to find and kiss his male lover. (I wonder if Ercole is aware of this.)

The name ‘Ercole’ apparently means ‘Hercules’.

According to the DIsney Wiki: “ His surname is based in an actual Italian noble family. Curiously enough, the heraldry of that family shows a person being devoured by a sea monster.”
