It’s been over a whole ass year since I posted here, so I figured why not post something small about an oc project I’m working on?
These are the main 2 characters, the focus of our main storyline. (And if your first thought when looking at Arven is Alastor from hazbin hotel you’d be right on the money since he was Arven’s inspo)
One day while at a thrift shop Aphra finds an old looking book, claiming to be a demonic summoning book. Thinking it’s a joke because she found it at some random thrift shop, she buys it. As she reads through one of the “rituals” she finds the materials for it are super easy to find, so she decides to buy them despite her better judgement. After leaving it alone for a few days she comes home from work in a bit of an episode, and decides to drink a little to get her spirits up (a horrible decision). As she’s drunk she looks through the book again, and sees that when summoned, a demon will trade you something you desire for your soul. She decides to say “fuck it. The worst that could happen is probably just having to clean blood off my floor tomorrow” (still thinking the book was a joke). So she does the ritual and much to her dismay, she summons a demon.
He introduces himself as Arven, and offers to strike a deal. In Aphra’s drunken and severely depressed state, she says that all she wants is someone to love her. Arven is intrigued by this, and agrees to help her find a lover in exchange for her soul. Aphra requests that once the deal is complete she gets her soul back, still having some common sense despite being drunk. Arven agrees and they make the deal.
Soon after Arven finds himself wanting to learn more about the human he’d made a drunken deal with, and starts visiting her in the human realm. The occasional visit soon turns into an every day routine as this demon slowly becomes more and more obsessed with Aphra, and soon starts to think he’s fallen in love with her.
