Tyranny Critical Role drives me crazy. She's a first time player's Chaotic Neutral character that's here to do bits, crack jokes, and generally engage in tomfoolery. She's also a simmering cauldron of a storyline about the nature of love and how it makes us human - or doesn't, or twists us into something INhuman. She's barrelling down the tracks at full speed towards either a Disney ending where she becomes a Real Girl(TM) and winds up surrounded by love, or goes full Dark Side as she comes into her powers as a fully armed and operational Archdemon - like she's a goddamned Baldur's Gate 3 companion - and we don't know which way the switch is going to be thrown this early in the game.
