With the coronavirus going around I want to remind everyone that witchcraft should be used with proper medicine. I use honey and lemon tea to cure a sore throat, but that won't stop the coronavirus. Be safe and healthy!
Deities
It's important when you're working with deities not to treat them like a store. They aren't something that you go to when you need something. You should treat them with respect and care. Offerings shouldn't only be given when you want something it should just be something that you do.
I just wanted to let people know that I made a groupchat for trans and nb people to try out names and pronouns! It's called trans names
REBLOG IF YOU POST WITCHCRAFT AND ARE LGBT FRIENDLY I WILL FOLLOW
PSA
Before you start learning a new branch of magic make sure that it's not a closed practice or cultural appropriation. If it is be respectful and chose something else to do.
Protection
If you're doing a spell or talking with an entity it's very important to make sure that you are safe and protected.
Salt circle
Iron(repels fae) if you're wanting to work with the fae this isn't the best
Contact your diety if you have one
Use protective sigils
These aren't everything that helps protect but they are some that I use pretty often.
I'm the kind of person that feels like labels are necessary for everything. Learning about witchcraft made me realize that's not true. Focusing on what I do rather than what people think helps me advance my craft.
Something that's really helped me in my journey so far is not focusing on everything at once. Taking a topic and learning about it and then moving on to a new one. It makes organization a lot easier for me.
If anyone has any questions or just want's to talk my asks and messages are always open! I also do tarot card readings and sigil requests if anyone wants them!
Self energy cleansing
Whenever I'm having trouble and feel like my energy is negative I do a quick cleanse. I visualize white light flowing into my body and replacing any negative energies in me. It really helps me calm down.
The fact that witch is a gender neutral term makes me so happy. Witchcraft has brought so much joy into my life and I don't know where I would be without it.
Not to brag but I just got misgendered for 4 hours and I want death
Charging Sigils
My favorite methods to use are using energy to charge them. Burning them works pretty well if you're trying to get rid of something. Burying them is also a good way to connect with the earth. Anyway that has contact with element energy is good. Sunlight and moonlight are also good methods.
I was finally able to get a pendulum and it's so cute, I made sure to cleanse it before using it!
I did a survey on belief in the supernatural for a school project and it's kind of funny how little people believe in.
Going to a family party! Guess who's ready to get misgendered
