Diya has been separated from his wife, Shaima, and their 4 children for over a year. Diya has been trying to help his family get the funds they need to survive and evacuate, but the campaign for his family is still moving slowly. His wife and children have been starving due to the scarcity and surging prices of food.

Shaima and her children are in urgent need of $8k to afford food and winter supplies. The only shelter they have from the cold is a small tent that does not offer much protection from the weather. They need money to gather the resources they will need to survive the harsh months ahead and ensure that they have access to food throughout the winter.

Hello everyone. Today I would like to share the story of Diya's son Magdy and his beloved pets. Like many of us, including myself, Magdy loved his pets. He had a cat and a cockatiel that he had to leave behind when they were displaced from their home to the south. They had hoped to be able to return but were unable to because of the occupation's continued aggression in central Gaza. Can you imagine what that must feel like? To have to leave your beloved pets behind as you fight for your own survival, not knowing their fate. Unfortunately, this is the reality for many children like Magdy in Gaza. If you are as angry as I am about the suffering of children and animals in Gaza, this is your chance to do something good for them.

Here is a photo of Diya's son Magdy and the cat that his mother bought for him. You can see how this brought a smile to his face during these difficult times. ❤️

In the last 24 hours, Diya's campaign has only received $20 in donations. The prices of basic necessities such as food and winter supplies continue to skyrocket because of the scarcity of resources in Gaza. They cannot survive on $20 a day. My family is in a precarious situation due to the harsh conditions and famine we have been suffering from for more than a year. We are facing enormous challenges, so I created a campaign to help me and my family rebuild our lives and meet our basic needs for food, drink and other necessities in these harsh conditions. This will also help me continue my children's education. At this critical moment, I implore you to share my campaign with your network, both offline and on social media platforms. As each day passes, the destruction against Palestinians keeps claiming more and more lives. Dyia (@familygazaamal), on top of being separated from other members of his family , have shared this very heartbreaking story with me about his wife Shamia and his four children via DMs:

Every sentence on this message adds a new layer of sadness. The hard work to get a vaccine as necessary as polio. The dead child and man, whose names and stories might never come to light. The fear of having watched that horrible scene but having to remain strong to comfort your children. Watching your children becoming sick and afraid and feeling hopeless.

Today is a day like any other day of war, but the suffering on my children on this day was very tiring. My eldest child, Majed, and my middle child, Walid, went early in the morning, and the breeze was very cold, to the bakery to bring bread because we had no more flour. After four hours of tiring standing in line for bread that never ends, my children came, each one bringing a bag of bread, and the bread in the bag did not exceed ten small loaves. I was very, very, very sad for my children and worried about them a lot.

Diya (found at @familygazaamal) has been separated from his family from over a year. His wife and their 4 children have been trapped in Gaza without him, suffering through a year of war. They have been displaced over six times, and have struggled to access necessities like food, water, and shelter.

By now, the situation in the refugee has been getting more and more unbearable. Prices for food are prohibitively high, and there is not enough to go around. Diya's family have been struggling to find what they need to survive.

As of now, Diya and his family have only raised a small portion of the money they need, and donations have been slow.
