Snapchat showing the West Bank with all of its beauty and occupation! I was shocked that they showed a nativity church(exemplifying that it’s not only Muslim Palestinians who are being oppressed) and an Israeli settlement! Yallah snapchat, you also need to show Syria!!!
West Bank Snapstory
Man: This is Bethlehem!! *pans over* ...and this...is an israeli settlement
Me: *Living*
You know what’s extra lame about that Tel Aviv Snapchat story? Palestinians aren’t allowed to have mobile data on their cell phones, because Israel restricts the broadcast wavelengths necessary for Palestinians to access the internet via mobile devices. The Palestinians who do have it, have it because they’re in an area where they have access to purchase an Israeli sim card. So even if there were a West Bank or Gaza snap story, the majority of Palestinians couldn’t show us what their country looks like.
Keep it going guys
