Listen, Beverly Marsh may just be one of the strongest members of the losers club. They all went through a lot of shit, don’t get me wrong but Beverly was the only girl in a group full of guys. I’m sure she always felt a little bit out of place on top of everything else that was happening to her. She suffered years of sexual abuse from her own father and was scared of growing up, her greatest fear was getting her period. Like, can you imagine how much trauma she had to go through to get to the point where she was scared of her own body? and reliving that trauma as an adult through pennywise. Just. Holy shit man. Don’t even get me started on her abusive husband, Beverly is so extremely badass for putting up with all of that and more and still managing to find the strength to go back to Derry and face Pennywise again?? Just let that sink in.
