He panted heavily, tilting his head back as he let out a cough, squinting just slightly as he stared up at her. Shit. Okay. Think. He could yell right now, at least enough to get her disoriented, but he needed to catch his breath before that, or else he’d be too exhausted to do anything after that, and she’d probably get the upper hand on him–again.

He could respond, but he felt like that’d give her a little too much satisfaction. Instead, he sighed.

So he just glared, evening out his breathing, and trying to figure out how to keep her occupied long enough to gather the strength to break away. Slowly, he sunk his face behind his speaker, and mimicked the sound of police sirens, throwing his voice behind her head, so the sound didn’t seem like it was coming from his mouth anymore.

Queen COCKS her head to the side at the sound, but c l e a r l y was not worried about being caught in the slightest. A pout juts from her lips, though, and she shifts her body, cracking her long knuckles together, WICKED honey eyes grooming his expression for any delicious signs of fear or discomfort.

“It’s rude and annoying if someone bothered us, so I guess I better hurry!!” She exclaims in a HAPPY cheer, mouth becoming a pretty, but decidedly JAGGED smile, fangs glittering like polished china from the soft pink of her MAW. She looked & felt like a kid in a candy store!!

“.... You’ll let me under your skin, won’t you, Hero?!!” Queen coos, cutting the tip of her finger with a SHARP tooth. Her b l o o d BUBBLED black, like tar or oil.

A relieved sigh was pressed out of Shiseiji’s lungs as Queen took him into her embrace. Orange eyes struggled to stay open as he took shallow breaths. He sat still for a moment, both enjoying the hug and taking a moment to rest.

“Thanks, Queenie,” He chuckled, wiping some blood from his lower lip. “layin’ down’s soundin’ real good right about now.”

“You’re making me sad.” The snake CHARMER pouts, easily d r a g g i n g him along through alleys and dark, grimy shortcuts, while Princess, her Black Mamba migrates into Queen’s baggy clothes so she wasn't being squished by their weights.

“Having fun without me and getting hurt? How reckless.” Queen coos almost too sweetly, reptilian eyes unblinking & painfully bright, lips curled tightly upward.

Startled by how loud and jubilantthe older girl turned out to be, she nodded before reaching a hand out. Stopping herself, Himei took into account just what had been said by the other. 

“B-black mamba?! Aren’t those supposed to be the most dangerous species of snakes?” 

Despite how she hesitated, the snake did appear to be very docile…. Reaching out once more, pale lavender fingers softly glided over the shining black scales of the snake. 

“She’s so sweet….How long have you had her?”

Queen POSITIVELY glows, s o a k i n g the girl's attention like a sponge. She smiles widely, incisors catching the light, and places her perfectly manicured hands on the serpent, BEAMING with pride. Her nails are a bright, blood red against sleek black scales.

“Since I was born!” She exclaims, eyes UNATURALLY bright neon lemons.
