Hustler's Notes
7th January 2014
i came to joburg with my luggage and nothing else but a DREAM.
Straight and fresh out of Varsity (Vaal University of Technology) I took the risk that not many will have the guts to, especially at my age. with a friend (Mpho Motlatsi Lenny Makhale aka MphoMcCale) who lived here for 3 years while studying in the University of Johannesburg, we both shared the same goals, vision and sentiments. we both wanted INDEPENDENCE!
Was never easy but all it required was a lil determination, hardwork and persistence, not forgetting the cherry on topp - FAITH.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" was our daily prayer.
Delheim Village - 091 was our new home. we had absolutely nothing for the flat but kept positive anyway. both came with our "Air-o-space" beds but guess what *giggles* because our luggage was so heavy we ended literally dragging them on the floor and when we got "home" come bedtime when we had to take our lil single bed out BOOM! THEY WERE TORN :( so we opted to take the floor from then onwards. woke up every morning on the laptop applying for jobs, going out on the streets of Johannesburg to companies, dubmit our Resumes and never despaired. last week of Jan we had already known that we had jobs and we were starting the following week. we were thrilled, excited. . .we never stopped praying. and today DelheimVillage 91 is a fully furnished home. :)
More news to follow. . . .
