There are certain semi-scientific myths I’m willing to entertain, like the idea that cats purr at a healing frequency. Is it true? IDFK. I like to press my ear to my cat’s side when she purrs anyway. Makes me feel better. Probably because I’m in proximity to something I love and not because of her purring frequency.

There are a bunch of studies that indicate owning cats may improve your overall health and slow cognitive decline in older people. Probably because they provide stress relief and emotional support as well as promoting healthy routines and positive responsibility. Or maybe it’s because they are magic and they purr at a healing frequency. Probably not. Maybe.

I have spent 2 hours trying to figure out the due dates of my assignments for this class. The professor has multiple due dates all over the class site. When I think I've figured out the due date, she sends out an email listing a new due date. I hate this. One assignment has two different dates listed within the assignment directions!

Yeah, that 1.6 on ratemyprofessors is definitely deserved.

#technically 3 #i say technically because gender isnt a big deciding factor for the characters i play #when i make new characters gender is usually one of the last characteristics i consider #i have played 2 nonbinary characters 1 cis woman 1 cis man and 1 trans man #so far the rest of the players in my group have been a 1 or 2 #my cis dude dm tends to make a majority of the important npcs women interestingly enough

This morning, my colleague brought in some coffee candies. She said she saw them while grocery shopping and thought I'd like them. She was right! They're delicious!
