The fact is that safe, uncomplicated abortion has absolutely no effect on your ability to get pregnant in the future. And abortion is one of the safest medical procedures there is. Complications from having an abortion are rare, and the vast majority of complications can be pretty easily treated with no effect on fertility. Millions of people have abortions and go on to have healthy pregnancies and babies later on.
