Klaus was moments from lashing out in retaliation at the young manâs sudden arrival and bold approach when he noticed the look in the otherâs eyes - a confusion that he had seen in countless others that had been pulled both into this land and from the afterlife in such a short span of time. It made him bite his tongue for a brief second to compose himself the best he could. âThere is a lot to unpack in that question, mate, but a rather pressing situation on ours hands at the moment.â He gestured to the devourer from the depths.
âShorthand - my incredible daughter cast a rather remarkable spell to resurrect the dead, but it seems she performed it a little too well and more than simply her loved ones were caught up in it. If you were formerly a member of the âdeceasedâ club, congratulations - you have a second chance.â He explained with a sarcastically upbeat tone.
âProblem number two - someone has decided it would be such wonderful fun to suddenly bring everyone and their dear old mums to this realm - where not only are things such as faeries and mermaids real, but apparently warehouse-sized whales as well.â His irritation only grew through his tone, breaking the sarcasm up as he spoke.
Theo watched the male as he attempted to explain everything that had gone on before frowning a little as the story kept continuing. He tried to process it all but it felt as though his head was going to explode as the information went over his head for the most part. âOkay... uh...thatâs a lot of information to have in a few seconds..â he started before continuing. âYour daughter must be an incredibly powerful witch to have been able to resurrect people.â he admitted. Looking to the whale for a moment, Theo spoke again. âThis is really weird... I take it you have family you think may have been swallowed by that thing?â he asked. The way the male had been ranting when Theo stumbled upon him probably told the male he was right.Â
