Some new bits starting to get there..
Some recent bug doodles from my Instagram feed. Not usually a fan of bugs, but they’re certainly fun to draw and colour in https://www.instagram.com/gemmaoneill/
I’m not sure if I mentioned it before but I have a bit of a photography addiction. At the moment it’s all about local textures and epic treks/adventures ( I live on the rugged Causeway Coast in Ireland). One of my new years resolutions this year was to have more adventures and to go outside every day, even just for the quickest of danders sometimes. I’m sticking to it so far and the whole adventure side of things might have even inspired a new book idea!
(Love the photograph above. Taken by super talented chum Emma McFarline)
Love this post from Sarah McIntyre

A little experiment above and some artwork from my first two picture books below..
I’ve been working from home a couple of days this week and it has been well timed with a bit of a heatwave. Yesterday involved a glorious six mile run over lunch and today involved some doodling at the beach over lunch!
Was inspired to share my work wall by illustrator/author Helen Stephens
