❛ no. i lived in russia until teenager, snow was not favorite. ❜ in truth, he’d be fine with never seeing snow again. moving to one of the warmest places in america was meant to be an escape. thankfully it never lasted and never got as dense as it did back in russia. he still remembers the silence when surrounded by the freshly laid snow. it was calming, but he missed the sun too much. ❛ this is not snow, is ice. watch your steps. ❜

It had taken her some time to realize that this planet was split up into several different territories. Judging from the map she had found, Russia was one of those territories, largely located in the northern section of the planet. Their current location, though, was still a mystery. “So if we’re not in Russia, where are we? Which territory?” She nodded at the ice warning, not bothering to point out that she had survive far less sure footing.

seeing someone this excited about snow made him feel a pull of nostalgia of when he was a child. the innocence of his youth laid way for a fun time in the blanket of white surrounding them. hands shoved into the pockets of his jacket, his thumb traced over the band of his ring as a means of entertaining himself as she learned more about the weather.

She thought of the ice planets in her own galaxy, planets so covered in snow and ice that they seemed to glitter in the sunlight. There was a part of her that missed it, missed the lush variety of planets she had seen during her time with the Jedi Order. And yet, each one held a memory, and those memories were to be avoided at all costs. At least until she could handle them. This planet was an escape, even if she felt weak for needing to flee.
