The scene in Dragonball Super when Goku reenacts the last time he saw his Grandpa was a scene that took me by surprise when I recognised what it was he was doing.

Just goes to show how much love and attention to detail Toei Animation put into the series.

Dragonball is so well loved, even 40+ years later, and I'm sure it'll continue to be for many more generations.

Grief sucks. Like, it REALLY sucks! I know to put my trust in God's ways, but sometimes that thought doesn't make everything better. He knows it too. I'm sad right now, but grateful. I'm allowed to feel both--we all are!

Akira Toriyama is the reason why I kept on drawing, when I was little. Piccolo was his favorite character, and mine too. Which made drawing this even harder for me. 

So, God thank you for blessing us with Akira Toriyama. May he finally be at peace with You.

I hope and pray we all see him again one day. Someday....
