   Soot and grease were splattered all across his clothing, hair and face; not that he minded t. In fact, this was only proof of a job well done! And boy, this new invention was a job well done, if he says so himself. He was meddling with their automobile once again, but this time, he added a bit more style to it. Call it a bit of Impey flair if you must. Not only that, but he tweaked the engine, allowing it to move at a faster speed than before.

          “ Look at how cool it looks! I call it, Impey’s Rocket!              It’ll move five times as fast now, too! Hehe, wanna              take it out for a spin? ”

   Just a little note that I forgot to mention here, but my activity is gonna be a lot lower than usual this week haha it’s already non-existent how much lower can it get? My family is over for the fourth, so the only times I can really do anything is around midnight and by then I’m pretty dead. Everything should turn back to normal around the 10th? Idk how long they’re staying actually. But yeah, sorry about that!

          “ How right you are~ ”

   He’s thankful for every decision he’s made so far. Because of what he did in the past, he now had great friends, a dream and a purpose to his life. Impey couldn’t image what his life would be like if he did change anything. Every thought that popped into his head just felt so wrong. Though some decision lead to... well... less than desirable outcomes, it made him who he was today. That was enough for him in the end.

          “ Hey Cardia, are you happy with the decisions you’ve made? ”

   Thinking things over, Cardia could have had a very different life. If she said no to joining them, he wondered, where would she be? How would things change? Hell, he could have never met her if she did something differently! Oh my, what a terrible thought that was! He couldn’t imagine a life without her by his side! She was a glistening light in this dark world. All he can hope is that she’s happy being here with them as much as they’re happy being with her.

   Well, she had a point. Impey has met a few nightmares dressed as daydreams in his life time. One person in particular popped into his mind when she mentioned this, the queen. She was a beauty of all beauties but man, did she have a cold heart. Such a waste too, if only she was more like his dear Cardia and put that beauty to good use.

          “ Well– You have a point there, Cardia. ”

   After a moment a smile stretched across his face and it took all his effort not to ruffle the girls hair, for fear of his hand disintegrating. He leaned down with a hand on his hip and a finger raised. While not every woman with a pretty face is a good person, they have one very special girl that was blessed with both. That girl would be their dear Cardia.

         “ That being said, we’re all very fortunate to have someone like you~!            You’re incredibly kind and stunning! Perhaps the most beautiful girl           on this earth! ”

   Impey would never pass up a chance to flirt with poor Cardia. Though, in this case, if he was asked, he would state that he was merely stating the facts. Cardia was indeed a pretty woman, not a soul could deny that, and her kindness knew no bounds. It was the tone he used that made the statement sound flirty.

   Honestly, everyone in their little group was blessed to have Cardia with them. She was truly a gift to this world.
