I have been thinking a lot about Geno and the contract talks that seem to go nowhere lately. The treatment he receives in regards to how valued he is by the team and league are part of what inspired this piece in the first place and I am just so upset that it is happening even now. He is 39 and he was over a point per game, he kept scoring in the playoffs. I just want the contract talks to conclude so that he can retire a penguin with the full respect he deserves
