Ei and Miko sat across the table from each other, glaring at the other. Their eyes were deadly, and an electrifying aura surrounded both of them. The normal person would have thought they were having an argument, but the people at Komore Teahouse were used to their shenanigans by now.
"So," Miko said, smiling, "what do you bring to the table this time?"
Ei unwrapped a box from her furoshiki. "Dango milk, cake, and…"
"Dog food." Ei said, smirking as Miko growled at her.
"What kind of sick joke do you think this is?"
"I didn't say it was for you, touchy." Ei laughed.
Miko sat back down slowly, "I forgot that there are real dogs here."
Ei inspected the pot on the table closely, poking at the sides and somehow not burning her fingers. "So how does this game work again?"
"It is a hot pot game, we each put random food in the pot, and blindly guess who put the food in when we eat it," the kitsune explained, "but with your tastes in food it almost would've been better to use chocolate instead of broth…" Miko set her ingredients on the table, a wide variety of meat and veggies, to try and get the stubborn archon to eat some normal food.
"You're not going to make me eat that, are you?" Ei said, picking up a mushroom, inspecting it suspiciously.
"Hey those ones are mine," Miko said, taking the mushroom from her girlfriend's hands and eating it.
"Anyways, I guess we should start playing so I can get to dessert."
"Sure, but you best be sure you give that dog food to Taroumaru and not me."
