Small life update since I only update this blog every once in a blue moon:

I’m cramming hard for A-levels which start in June for me

I’m (attempting) to grow out my hair since I miss feeling feminine (yes ik long hair doesn’t = femme etc etc but let me have this)

No love life since my ex (dont miss that asshole tho)

Rowing is going well although half our squad has been badly injured everyone’s getting back on track now

When I think about how badly instagram and TikTok have rotted my brain it makes me really sad. Like I’ve wasted so much time just scrolling mindlessly to the point where I feel like it’s permanently changed the way I think. I genuinely feel like it’s probably altered my life irreversibly and I feel so disappointed that I’ve let myself get sucked in to a habit that I know for a fact is so bad for me. My attention span is completely fucked (to be fair I do also have ADHD which doesn’t help matters) and I find making friends pretty difficult now. As much as I want to say fuck it and delete everything I also want to be able to stay update on current trends and my friends lives which means I keep the profiles. Maybe that’s just a lack of willpower but I doubt any of the apps are getting deleted any time soon.

Soz for the rant but I’m feeling the pressure rn bc of exams so struggling to focus sucks ;-;.
