Lace hype train, coming into the station!

Here's a couple doodles of Lace! I absolutely adore her design. Also I gave her a cape, just because.

does anybody have any theories on how a vessel would laugh?

like I know they can’t verbally laugh without a mouth, but imagining that the more expressive/emotive vessels express joy through their body language makes me feel better because those kids deserved to be happy okay

Headcanon time: The Knight (Ghost) is an escape artist and can pretty much get out of anything. How else would they be able to leave Hallownest after being locked away in the Abyss? Literally nothing can contain this being

in my experience with fostering kittens, the smaller and cuter the creature the easier it is for them to escape and wreak havoc when you aren’t looking. you’d be surprised how much determination can fit in such a small creature.

Pale King: [seals the Abyss with a magical barrier and an indestructible door]

And then, just like a cat, they immediately want back in

RIGHT?! i almost forgot that Ghost is also known for just breaking doors down with sheer rage strength so alternatively:

Pale King: [seals kingdom in a magical time spell to preserve it in its glory and stop the spread of deadly infection at the cost of the vessel he raised as his own child, tells his subjects that they can’t leave without losing their literal mind, adds a BIG door with CHAINS at the only known entrance to the kingdom]

Trying to work out Govan’s color scheme. I like the light blue, but I’m not sure if it’ll be a permanent part of his design. Either way, this will do for now.

I made another HK oc because I have no impulse control

His name is Govan, a former bodyguard from the City of Tears. A skilled fighter, with his deadly twin nails, he was tasked with protecting a high class bug living in the capital. Eventually, the rising threat of the infection made him flee, leaving the other bug behind. Stricken with guilt, he wanders Hallownest, but never comes near the City of Tears.

Some more doodles of Sovanna, now interacting with other characters. She can talk for hours, but she has... Below average listening skills. Not that the Moss Prophet has much to say that's comprehensive anyways.

She probably wouldn't disturb the crystal guardian? I mean you can only wake them by attacking, and she's definitely not the sort to stab everything she sees.

Sovanna doodles done during particularly uneventful classes.

While I don't think Sovanna would ever fight anyone, I sketched some ideas of what a boss battle with her would be like. Her nail serves as more of a dagger, so she uses leaf projectiles. She also gains a shield in her second phase.

Sovanna’s absentmindedness and Ghost’s quiet approach can lead to her rambling to herself for a lengthy moment before realizing anyone’s there... At least they’re not the worst thing that could sneak up on her.

I love seeing people’s Hollow Knight OCs, they’re all so creative! So, I decided I would make one of my own!

Sovanna was a previous resident of Dirtmouth before descending into Hallownest. She often keeps to herself and has her head in the clouds most of the time. She can be found studying the wildlife of Hallownest, mumbling her observations aloud. When she’s fully focused, it can be difficult to get her attention. She’s very distant, but friendly to those that show her kindness.

She carries a few Wanderer’s Journals on her, along with other artifacts. They’re not much use to her, however. Perhaps she would part with them for a price...
