I found out about Postcrossing during a geocaching event on World Postcard Day and decided to try it out with the freebie postcards that were handed out during it. None of my cards have reached their destination yet; but I'm excited for when they do.
Having to deal with front desk postal ladies is a bit of a turn off, though. I've gone through two different post offices so far to buy stamps and both of the clerks I talked with didn't seem too enthralled that I was buying postcard stamps. I asked a couple questions and they didn't care to answer any of them.
Any Postcrossing veterans have tips for a newbie?
