Visitor Videos - PART FOUR I've now researched the ghosts in the castle. Rather than write too much about them, I'm going to use the images. I need video of people from certain times in history and I will turn them into ghosts! Fortunately, Canva has a lot of videos. Unfortunately, they are very American - and I am British. But we will be creative!

I've picked a place rather than an individual ghost...
Dover Castle has been a fortress since Roman times. It was used for defence as recently as WWII. It has a LOT of ghosts. This makes it an ideal subject.
I usually start building my videos with a short stock video and a piece of music. Everything must be copyright-free or allowed under the canva rules.
Here are our rules:

We removed the background for some bits, added a green filter for others, and we added music. The aesthetic is TV from the 70s/80s/90s, so this is at the newer end of the range.

Just a little note for anyone lucky enough to be planning a trip to London in the next two years. The building which was used as Fittes House in the TV series is about to undergo some serious refurbishment. It's unclear how much it will affect keys areas of the building which were used for iconic scenes in Lockwood & Co. Please make sure you include a visit while you can. One of our team created an excellent building plan for George's Gazetteer and the Feb 2025 meet, which you can either download from the GG website, or contact the GG team to arrange a free tour (with tour map included) during your visit. We also have several other route maps for visiting Lockwood & Co locations. See our website for details!
