Last week I had the best day in London - doing the Fittes Tour of the Barbican!
Despite wearing the wrong colour, I totally wandered around imagining myself as Lucy. Only a shame I didn’t spot a tuxedoed Lockwood or Kipps 😉
Thanks @georgesgazetteer for the brilliant tour and map!

Calling all fans of Lockwood & Co! We need YOU!
On 8th November 2025, there will be a virtual panel with creators and crew from the Netflix production of Lockwood & Co.
As part of the event, we are asking fans of the show and the books to create poems and videos on the theme of Visitors of the World!
We want you to tell us about your local ghosts. Is your riverside haunted by a coven of Cold Maidens? Do you have secret codes to evade the neighbourhood Fetch?
I will be sharing a few quick posts today explaining more about the content.
Follow the link above to find out more about how you can help us make ClusterCon II even better than last time. Or watch the trailer below

Hiii. First of all I really love your writing. YOU SHOULD LIKE WRITE YOUR OWN BOOK!!! I would like to ask if there is anyways I can read "The cursed sisters" Lockwood and co. I can't find it on AO3 or your AO3 account.
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the
Organization for Transformative Works
Thank you!
At the moment time won’t allow me to add more chapters to FF, but the full story is on AO3. I am also adding formatting and images to AO3, so it is a better way to read. (Much as I love FF).
You should be able to find the Cursed Sisters at the above link. 🤞🏻
Fed up with the format on AO3? Like the idea of AO3 Work Skins but don't know where to start?
Here is a link to a How to? guide for AO3 Work Skins.
You might want to go from this:
To this:
Or you might want to go further.
You honestly do not need to have a degree in Computing to work out how to apply AO3 work skins - but you do need to have a degree in translating tech manuals to understand most of the existing help files on the subject!
I've hosted this on a #LockwoodandCo fan website, but it is suitable for any person who writes any kind of fanfic. Putting it on a website allows me to add lots of screenshots easily.
How to add formatting to your Fan Fiction An AO3 fic with a work skin applied If you want to make your fan fics colourful and easier to read
You might not think you need colours on fanfics, but you might like to use the basic options which allow you to apply first line indents etc without doing it all manually.
If you have any comments, concerns etc you can message me at [email protected] or DM me here or on @72Scopley on Twitter. Please be gentle! Hopefully, you will find this useful - and I will keep adding to it. Just to reiterate, you might not like my colours or images, but the instructions will tell you how to change them.
(I am still working on the Site Skin part of this. It's a bit more involved.)

I've been writing fanfics since 2009 (60+ fics and counting!). When I joined Tumblr I noticed people asking about certain fics and whether or not I had written them. SO...just in case you ever wanted to check whether a fanfic was one of mine, here is a list of all the fics (complete and incomplete), which I have written - and where you can find them (or not!).
Love Lockwood & Co? Wish you could be part of the team?
Today is the FOURTH #GeorgesGazetteer day on Twitter/X. @OfficialDEPRAC will be assigning hauntings to anyone who signs up.
How does it work?
If you have a Twitter / X account, follow @OfficialDEPRAC and sign up for the event.
You are given a ghost type and a location from the www.georgesgazetteer.blog map. Do some on line research about the location and make up a short story about how you vanquished the ghost. Quote/retweet Deprac on TwitterX.
Still confused? Have a laugh at the casebooks from the previous events we have run on:
Experiencing London through the eyes of Lockwood & Co
Another www.GeorgesGazetteer.blog adventure yesterday when some of our members visited YALC and met Jonathan Stroud! He’s been a loyal supporter of our site, and it was lovely to say thank you in person for both the books and tolerating our enthusiasm for his worlds.
Experiencing London through the eyes of Lockwood & Co
Mini George’s Gazetteer adventure today: 27,000 steps (11.5 miles) and (re)visited PR, all the Fittes sites, DEPRAC, Tyburn Gallows, Hanover Gardens, two potential PR sites in Mayfair, as well as Liberty’s, Carnaby Street, Chinatown and Leicester Square. Had afternoon tea in Marylebone too.
