In honor of ClusterCon being tomorrow, here's the Lockwood &Co gang all with different rapiers that I saw at the V&A Museum last weekend
Prompt: Early Sunsets
When the icy blue of the wintery sky began to fade to a cool, distant grey, that was when London folded in on itself for the night. The Ghost Lamps flicked on, and the Night Watch kids took their positions with their iron sticks, hoping to be granted one more morning, one final moment to watch the sunrise.
For perhaps the first time in ages, Lucy sat on the front stoop of 35 Portland Row, the chill slipping in almost like a ghost, until she had to pull her scarf tight and button up her coat all the way. She didn't have to be anywhere; she just wanted to enjoy a rare evening off. Early sunsets always meant that the darkness felt a little thicker, a little more impenetrable. When the sun stayed high in the sky for most of the day, the entirety of London breathed easier, carried themselves with a softer ease. But as Lucy watched, businessmen and women passed by, their jaws tight and their shoulders hunched.
They wanted to lock themselves away in their homes before curfew, when the first Glimmers and Wisps would appear like an omen. The adults couldn't see them, but that didn't mean anything. It didn't change the fact that the ghosts stalked the living.
Behind Lucy, the front door opened and Lockwood and George stepped out. They, too, wore coats and scarves, and she smiled at the sight. "Taking a mid-evening stroll?" she asked, but then George passed her a thermos. When she cracked the lid, she caught the sweet, heady scent of hot cocoa.
"Not at all," Lockwood replied easily as he settled on the stoop beside her. His shoulder brushed hers and she felt the slightest flutter of butterflies in her stomach. "We thought we'd join you."
"Yeah," George agreed, and sat down on Lucy's other side. "How often do we get to just people watch? Maybe once a year, if that."
Lucy's smile widened, and she took a sip of the hot cocoa. Early sunsets meant that danger lurked around every corner, but they also served to remind her of something else. As long as she had Lockwood and George, nothing could hurt her. The three of them would face whatever came for them, together.
As Lockwood would say: just reckless enough.

Creating a Visitor Video PART TWO!
I've picked a place rather than an individual ghost...
Dover Castle has been a fortress since Roman times. It was used for defence as recently as WWII. It has a LOT of ghosts. This makes it an ideal subject.
I usually start building my videos with a short stock video and a piece of music. Everything must be copyright-free or allowed under the canva rules.
Here are our rules:

Calling all fans of Lockwood & Co! We need YOU!
On 8th November 2025, there will be a virtual panel with creators and crew from the Netflix production of Lockwood & Co.
As part of the event, we are asking fans of the show and the books to create poems and videos on the theme of Visitors of the World!
We want you to tell us about your local ghosts. Is your riverside haunted by a coven of Cold Maidens? Do you have secret codes to evade the neighbourhood Fetch?
I will be sharing a few quick posts today explaining more about the content.
