due to jcink's little fit yesterday, the admins have lost alot of chances to finish up finishes that needed to be done. so, we have talked about it and decided that friday would be best for us to open so that we can spend today finishing up anything that we feel needs to be finished. (: can't wait to see you all there!

jcink just tweeted that they are expecting down time today in order change their i.p address to fix the ddos attack issue.   we will keep you updated as to whether we will be opening tonight or sometime tomorrow.

FACE CLAIM RESERVES ARE NOW OPEN.

as of right now we are only allowing one face claim reserve per player.  we will only publish your ask message if you submit anonymously and the claim you want has already been reserved.  if you submit with your tumblr account one of us will shoot you a message privately if you double reserve.  make sure to check the face claim link on the sidebar!  if you want to make a face that someone is requesting then let us know and we'll try to pair you up with the person to get information from them. mistakes can be made so please make sure you double check that we have edited your reserve in.

the jaguars if we're using easy terms here the jaguars would be from the "rich" side of town. they just have oodles of money whether you've come into it recently or it has been in the family for generations. they participate in white-collar crime from time to time. which means they sometimes obtain their money illegally. i am not talking robbing a bank illegally either. think wall street style embezzlement crime.

the jaguars formed when they needed to figure out a way to defend themselves from the devils. they came together in the year 1968 (a year after the devils). the devils may not be as physically tough, but they are highly intelligent. of course they'll need muscle regardless, but you won't see a jaguar pulling out a knife street fight style. all of their moves are highly calculated and planned out. to get into the jaguars (if you aren't a legacy) you'll have to pay a hefty sum of money to get in. just to prove you're worth it. the jaguars don't take just anyone. only the top minds, the crème of the crop, etc! most of all, don't you dare be from the "wrong" side of town.

the devils the devils are the original gang of newton and they are proud of it. the devils first came to be because they wanted to show those rich sons of bitches what they were made of. they were tired of being pushed around and generally treated like shit by the "rich" side of town. when the devils first formed in 1967 they laid out a strict code of honor. if the code of honor wasn't abided by then you were going to sleep with the fish. the devils were modern day robin hoods who would steal from the filthy rich and give to the poor. the devils just wanted to make their families lives better. over the next few years (specifically after the jaguars got together) the moral code started to fizzle out. it wasn't noticeable at first. a few of the members decided to use some tactics that were a little more...rough just for the sake of being rough.

while the jaguars are not typically liable to react with out right physical violence the devils are another story. the devils have gotten particularly shady over the years and specialize in any type of physical fighting. you're either born a devil or you have a hell of a lot of work to do to get in. the devils will always be one big family at the end of the day.

civilians so, probably the most simple group. they are not involved in either gang. they could be family members of either the devils or the jaguars who just aren't involved. they can be newcomers, have lived here their whole lives, off and on...whatever. if they are not in a gang then you'd be here!
