With this, Stand-in officially comes to an end. Thank you all so much for staying with the comic until the very end, and for witnessing this conclusion together with me.

A small vent

Over the past two years, I’ve found myself empathizing with baby boomers. Why? Because while everyone else is moving forward, I feel like I’m standing still and stuck at some point in the past. Most people are leaving ut fandom, moving on to new ones or focusing on real life, and so on—but what about me? I’ve been stuck in the same fandom and shipping the same two characters for nine years... Man... I would do anything to make things go back to the way they used to be. Song covers, dozens of people participating in Fransweek, comic dubs, and more… The game’s most popular ship has now become its most hated ship, and here we are, just a handful of people left. I guess I’ll never make any progress, and when all of you leave here, I’ll still be here and wawe my hand for you. That’s all from Creepyface for today. Take care whoever you are.

I'm the exact same way. I'm not ready to let go of this fandom or this ship. Not yet.

And I'm not sure if I will ever be.

Welp, I'm 22 now. Time flies, huh? It's like sand between my fingers.

How do you view Frisk?

Something that has bothered me for a while with the current Undertale fandom is how a lot of people claim that Frisk is "canonically a nonbinary child". Has Toby Fox said that's the case? Is it ever said in the game that it's set in stone?

I mean, if that's really the case, then why can you go on a date with Alphys and no one thinks it's weird? I'm sure there are other things like that in the game that I'm not thinking of right now, but that's the one that stands out the most for me.

I have always viewed Frisk as a blank slate, a character that can be interpreted by the player however they want. Artists should have the freedom to make their own Frisk. A male anime protagonist? Sure. A thicc anime waifu? Why not? A nonbinary child? Sure.

I have seen so many different takes on Undertale as a whole, that's one of the reasons I love Undertale so much. So tell me, do you really want people who want to make Undertale content in any way to be so limited? If we had limited ourselves like a lot of people seem to want to, then we wouldn't have gotten so many beautiful AUs.

Sorry for ranting, this has just been on my mind for a while now.

Is it just me or have all of the big channels that used to do Undertale comic dubs completely stopped? Mr. Amazing VA, TwoAllNighters, even Sans Comic TV (just to name a few) seems to have stopped.

I may be making Undertale Comic Dubs myself, but it still makes me sad...
