the problem with therapy is that it forces me into Scary Appointment Mode, meaning I become overly confident and entirely fake. Which is yknow. Not helpful to the people trying to fix you
started doing a weekly diary and the therapist who tells me every week 'it's fabulous how organised you are!' looked visibly taken aback when her patient who shows up fifteen minutes early in nice clothes with hair done cute and little matching purse with planner, documents in a plastic folder with two pens in case one runs out, classic book to read in the waiting room, tells her she hasn't showered in a week or slept in two days

The short of it is that a study blog was sustainable for me in high school when I pretty much studied only before tests, but I'm hoping to be more regular with my revision in uni and I don't want the added pressure/distraction of documenting it. Also, the inability to send asks from a sideblog was getting on my nerves lol.
I love personalised belongings so much. I'm still thinking about the engraved calling card case I saw at an auction. I wonder what Lizzie (born 182-) was like. I want to know who gave it to her, I want to know how often she used it, was she a socialite, did she keep to herself. It seem like a gift to a young woman to me, perhaps from a parent. It had her year of birth included, maybe it was a significant birthday. The case was made silver of and mother of pearl, just like the necklace I was wearing at the auction (and now) - I received it as a gift from family on a birthday of my own. I hope Lizzie had a long and wonderful life.

hello! I'm not a big play person, not out of any dislike just have never spent a lot of time with it.
My experience with theatre doesn't really extend past shakespeare in high school english, and a viewing of the inspector's calls my parents got half price tickets for, unfortunately.
I would however be very open to suggestions!

really dissapointed with myself today. havent been working much and I found myself completely unable to focus, getting distracted by tumblr or fic writing or something else ever so often. forced myself to leave the library before it got too late so i'll have to keep working at home. had a nice day with a friend though, had takeaway subway in the library and chatted for ages. need to get my attention span working again
