Wait, sorry, is anyone already talking about this?

That the whole movie is ultra widescreen (approx. 12x5, or 2.39:1)... except for the Human AU part, which is regular widescreen (16x9, or 1.7:1)?

Sorry, did people already know this and I'm just super late to the conversation like a silly head?

Why would they shoot these in different aspect ratios... 🤔

Divine Determinism. The characters are all acting within God's "box", her plan, her will. Crowley says their "free will" is actually not that at all. Like characters in a movie. They make actions, but it's all pre-written. In a world without God, Satan, Heaven, Hell, anything like that, there are no more borders. There is life, freely moving.

I'm looking for two Supernatural fanfics that I read WAAY back in the day. Like, they were probably on Fanfiction.net kind of back in the day.

The first is a "modern au" in that no one has anything to do with hunting. Sam is in a rehab center for drugs, and Dean buys a house in a neighborhood near by so he can visit Sam and then host him when he gets out. His neighbor is an odd man that gardens at night, has men show up at odd times to his house, and seems to speak in riddles. This guy is Cas. It's a Destiel fic about religious trauma and stuff.

The second is another AU fic where Dean is P.I., which was dad's business, and after Sam left adopted Cas as a partner. They are currently dealing with a case where Sam has to get back involved, and there's some tension between him and Cas for "his" spot in Dean's life. Also, there's a scene where Cas walks into a room that explodes at one point, but he's okay. There's no actual Destiel in this one, but there might as well be, considering the rub between Cas and Sam is how "dedicated" to Dean they are.

Any help finding these fics would be AWESOME.
