how active is this?

i’d say we’re reasonably active !! we’re a rather small group and have a few members ( including admins ) on hiatus at the moment, but everytime i check the dash there seems to have been somewhat recent activity.

do we have to be up to date with canon material to play a character?

no you don’t !! with the plot of the RP with characters losing some, if not all of their memories and having then replaced with fake ones, you can set a character whenever you want !! just beware that other characters in your fandom may spoil things a little.
