Day 8: Blah...
Feeling kind of off today so I didn’t really do much. Took care of my fish and watched Netflix. Going to see about doing stuff tomorrow though. Need to move...
Day 7: 10,000 steps and Pokemon
Got my 10,000 steps in on a walk with Zac. We decide to go Pokemon hunting and walked enough for him to hatch a 2 km egg. I finished a 5 km egg. Then we walked to meet Chris when he was walking home from the college. Part of my steps today were out upgrading my phone and buying groceries.
Day 6: Not much...
But Chris and I did go for a walk today. Just down to the Mac’s and back but it was exercise and sunshine.Â
Day 5: Kempenfest day 2
Chris and I left the house at around 10 this morning and went to Kempenfest. We spent a couple of hours walking around and looking at things. Picked up a couple of fun things and this EPIC garlic spread that’s going to be great on everything from toast to backed potatoes to pasta. I got a henna tattoo on my arm today. While we were walking back to the bus terminal my Fitbit buzzed my 10,000 steps. Also had the BEST poutine I’ve ever eaten today. It’s been a good day today.Â
Day 4: 10,000 steps
Tanya and I went back to the water front for Kempenfest today. I got my 10,000 steps in just after we got home. Going again tomorrow with Chris. I’ll get back to writing in the book after that. Things will slow down again and I’ll need to keep motivating myself.Â
Day 3: Oi...
So I didn’t complete the things planned in my book today but I have a legitimate excuse for it. I DID get some exercise today though. Tanya and I went for a nice long walk down near the water front today and got some sun. It was rather lovely. Not a total loss of a day.
Day 2: I need to think up more clever titles...
So for today’s workouts we had:
20 crunches
20 sit ups
10 leg raises
10 push ups
10 second plank
and guess what?! I COMPLETED all of it. Chris held my feet for 15 of my sit ups. I did the first 5 with my feet at the edge of our bed but it didn’t work out very well for me. So far I’m maintaining my motivation. It’s going to be a bit harder this weekend but I’m going to do my best.Â
Day 1: Starting again.
Getting my butt back in gear. Need to make new habits of exercising. I’ve got a book going again and I’m building it up as I go. Changing things as I go along and making it work better for me. I’ve knocked down the work outs a bit, made them easier to begin with and I’ll build them up again as I go so that things don’t get boring or stagnant. I’m going to only add the next days work out after I’ve finished the current day so that I don’t end up over whelmed. I’m also making the book a to do list of sorts that reminds me of what I need to get done in a day. Things like taking my vitamin b bill and feeding my fish. I got today done and had a shower already so here’s today’s work out record.
Yoga With Adriene: Yoga for Anxiety - 20 Minute Practice COMPLETE
20 crunches COMPLETE
10 push ups COMPLETE
10 second plank COMPLETE
I won’t be logging things like feeding the fish, vitamin b, and showers here though. Those will be kept in the book. This is where I’m going to log how I’m feeling from day today, what I did, and if I’ve completed them. I’ll be keeping a log in the book once a week for how many days in a row I’ve completed. I’m not setting a goal for how many days to complete or when I’m “finished” because I don’t want to finish. I don’t want to give myself a deadline so that I can keep going. I’ll log how many days in I am but not a finishing time. I want to just keep going and keep up with it. Even if it’s only something simple, I want to get at least a little bit of a work out in every day.
Gonna be a long day today.
Woke up feeling like somebody was trying to tear my head off my shoulders. Mum worked on my neck and shoulder muscles for about 20 minutes and we put arnica gel on it. Also used a hot pack and Tylenol and i was able to sleep for a while more. Took a hot shower bit I'm still hurting and not able to move my head very well. Don't know that I'm going to be able to work or do karate today. This sucks... This whole week has been weird. I want a do over...

2 days down, 28 to go. I’m determined to keep this going. Yoga makes me happy and I feel awesome inside and out afterward.

30 Days of Yoga - Day 1 Ease Into It COMPLETE
30 sit ups - COMPLETE
30 push ups - COMPLETE
Off and running again. Doing yoga every day for a month. Dropped my reps of sit ups and push ups down to 30 a day instead of 50. Hoping that will cut down on the injury and pain in my shoulders. I’m still recuperating from a sprained ankle but yoga doesn’t really hurt it. I’ll be doing karate every Monday and Friday that I can. I’m also riding a bike home from work every Tuesday-Thursday. It’s about 10 miles for I’ll be getting in plenty of cardio as well. I’m determined to keep up with this as much as I can.Â
Oops...
As you can see, I’ve fallen off the wagon for October. Will be starting up again on November 1st with a slightly different workout and trying again. Here we go...
Week 6, Workout Day #38
FitnessBlender- Cardio CANCELLED 50 sit ups - COMPLETE 50 push ups CANCELLED I cancelled a large part of today's workout because I've been having issues with my shoulders. I don't want to overwork my joints and cause injuries and if something hurts and it's not the good kind of hurt I'm not going to do it. We'll see what happens with tomorrow's workouts.

Yoga With Adriene - Morning Yoga COMPLETE
50 sit ups COMPLETE
50 push ups COMPLETE
My legs are still really sore so I’m trying to take it a little easier on them but tomorrow is a cardio day so we’ll see what happens. Yoga is still one of my favourites. Bit of an easier workout than cardio or Pilates but still helping me out. Step count for today is 17,035.
