My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade https://www.facebook.com/MyChemicalRomance/ Personally, I like the song Teenagers more than this. Heck, I would have chosen Helena instead of this first. But, you just can't deny how well made this song was. It showcased the band's talent and musicianship, proving they were a cut above the rest and not just a bunch of guys doing a gimmicky stunt. It's definitely a long song with many sections. It was unheard of at that time where the music industry opted to showcase bands with short, pop infused mindless songs. MCR did it the Queen way and recorded this epic song. They even had matching suits onstage. The video was perfect. Dark. Gritty. Drawn out. It perfectly framed the band and their music, making them a part of that generation's band. In an era where bands were trying to be sad and somber, staring at their shoes and trying to prove to the world that it was hopeless and bleak, MCR came and showed them emo could be fun, light hearted. I'm glad they're back. I hope they're not too old.
