funnily enough, sometimes i feel like the more i study the less prepared i feel because i’m just discovering more information that i didn’t know before. today is definitely one of those day. i think i just need to finish my practice problems and then be at peace with it! excited to get through tomorrow hehe. i have to do 3 things i’ve been dreading (take an exam, do a work video call, and go to the dentist), but a hard tuesday will make wednesday all the better! hope you are having a good start to your week! if not, take it easy, tomorrow is a new day :)

Since tomorrow, I will everyday post about what productive I did. Currently, I am studying many different subjects - some for school, some for exams, some just because I like them. I want to motivate myself & others, I want to order them all, and I just want to take many aesthetic photos- because why not?

The state of my desk after a day of studying for my Analysis 2 exam.

I’m so tired, by the time I stopped studying I couldn’t even understand what I was reading. Doesn’t help that my professor likes to explain things in a way that is almost incomprehensible to everyone except maybe people who have alredy taken the class.

Can y’all believe it’s already August like what the heck? That’s just insane. Anyways, I’m so happy to say that I finally own a copy of Aristotle & Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and I’m so freaking excited to read it again! I read the book for the first time back when I was a freshman in high school and only picked it up bcs I was incredibly in love with the universe and loved the cover; it ended up changing my entire life and my perspective of the world. It has now officially become my favorite book (and I’ve read a whole lot of books) and I’m very interested to see if my understanding of the book changes now that I’ve had more years of life experience as I read the book when I was maybe fourteen or fifteen! I’m so excited ✨🤍

does anyone else just absolutely crave the gray, gloomy autumn weather where the sky is overcast and the air feels like rain, where you can sit in your windowsill with a cup of hot tea and candles burning, and the deep gray of the sky contrasts with the fiery orange and bright yellows of the trees? where the air smells like wet leaves and it's cool outside, you can put on your favorite sweater and go for a walk in the light misting rain?

messy bed from homework in bed 😬 had my art critique today and it went well. also have an interview to be a writing center tutor! i’m gonna be writing essays all weekend!

ive trying to consciously make studying enjoyable, but also rigorous and productive lately. started by downloading forest and tidying up my desk (a very good mix of art and law obvs). today is day one. hope everyone is staying safe.
