i’ve learned exactly one thing of use in this rotation, and I’ll share it with you now: if you have painful periods 1) consider a progestin only birth control method such as nexplanon or a hormonal iud (will also decrease your risk of endometrial cancer!) 2) start taking an NSAID — naproxen or ibuprofen — two days *before* the first day of your period
you can also do a CHC but progestin only options are the only ones that can get you to amenorrhea (most of the time) so if your periods are a real problem i feel like that’s the place to start imo
