Absolutely! I wasn’t able to nurse my first either, but used a nursing necklace to focus him on twiddling something other than the skin on my chest. Ouch!

do you use cjs butter or spritz?

Both!!! I love the spritz the most though! I do not like the stick. The stick got hard on me. but the butter and spray are wonderful. the spray i use every change, the butter i only use when he needs it.

Just to second what she said, I love the Spritz! I live in Texas and keep diaper spray in my bag which tends to stay in the car. The stick (and pretty much every other kind of cream) melts and runs out everywhere in the heat. But the spritz is perfect and mess free.
