Next-to-last call for casting our production of Les Miserables!

We still have plenty of roles we need filled, at this point, we'll take anyone.

You don't need acting/singing experience.

You can just be a fan who wants to be an extra and have a role as a beggar, factory worker, or a random Parisian being harassed by little Gavroche!

It's been decided to extend our call to those of you living outside of the Boston area, but still in New England. Because we're desperate, but you would have to be willing to drive to us.

On another note aside from casting, if anyone has suggestions for locations to film at we would be happy to hear and consider your options.

And another point, if you have some period costumes or articles of clothing that could pass off as something from the early 1800's that you wouldn't mind donating or let us borrow/rent we would be greatly in your debt.

If you're into stage makeup but need some practice, we have a job for you too! Don't be shy, we're all friendly! We promise to not let you die at the barricade!

We will be filming several weekends throughout the summer (July/August). Dates will be solidified once we have our full cast and know their schedules.

Have you ever been held back from playing your favorite role in Les Mis because of your gender? Then you should join in our crusade! This is another casting call for Gey Miserables, the gender-bent Les Mis production we’re filming in the Boston area this July and August over the course of 2-3 weekends. We’re not going to put out too many more of these; this may be the last one, so speak now or forever hold your peace. Read on for roles we still need to fill!

I’m going to create the official facebook group tonight, where I will poll people to finalize the dates. We will be filming in different locations in/near Lynnfield, Massachusetts over the course of 2-3 weekends. If you can only make it some of the time, great! We can still use you!

We’re using period costumes and props. This is definitely a low-budget film project, but we’re hoping to make it as high-quality as possible using what we have to work with.

We will double cast if necessary. We’re also open to shifting cast the day of in case anything crops up.

We are using the movie script with additions from the musical. It’s going to be pretty complete.

Oh, and if that wasn’t enough, we’re adding in our favorite headcanons, tumblr posts, and book scenes as special features/ outtakes. If you will be strong and stand with me, you can contribute yours and have them included in the thingy!

We will even include fanfics. We will play them out w/ the actual characters!
