When William first got the text from Sam about needing to talk, he was a little worried for his friend. Was it because Sam did not appreciate the attention William was giving him and was feeling uncomfortable with the whole thing? It is possible, given how Sam did show interest in Wanda. Well, little can be done now, William can only hope that this was not the end of their friendship so to speak. So instead of overthinking it any further, William took to knocking on Sam’s door and waited patiently.

Was Sam overthinking this? he didn’t know the answer to that because he was just going through the motions. Crushes weren’t really his thing, not since he’d been an adult and he was close to 30 so wasn’t this type of thing to be in the past? He knew that wasn’t true because as long as you’ve got a beating heart and emotions you’re gonna feel things for people. 

At the knock he went ahead and pulled the door open, Dala by his leg and ready to greet whomever was there. “Hey,” he said, eyes William as soon as he was able to see him. There was something so cute about this guy and Sam felt the need to reel it back before he confessed to everything with him still on his Chewie, we’re home welcome mat. “How you feeling after that move today?” he asked, turning to lead him into the living room.

MATHIEU: Let's knock on wood that that'll be the last time I get that sick for a long time, yeah?

MATHIEU: A lot of the time... no. I usually think about what I could've done to make it better, which is kind of a sucky train of thought.

SAM: I'm knocking on every bit of wood I can find. Even thinking my head is made of a block of wood and knocking on that.

SAM: Thanks. I just think I'm me but that's good to hear. And we can always make things better. That's just how life is but you did what you could in that moment and if it bombs then know it'll be better next time!

Sam was nervous. That was clear with the way he paced his house after he dressed, a shower very needed with the sweat he worked up while helping Wanda move into William’s place. He went back and forth with fessing up his crush on Willam and he knew the longer he kept it to himself the more it’d sit on his mind. And when it came to Sam Evans, he didn’t like things to sit. He liked it to be out in the open so everyone involved knew what was going on. Though the thing that made this harder to do was because it came to telling a guy he has a crush on him. Which was a first and it confused the hell out of him but...there it was and there it’s been. But that wasn’t the hard part either becaue not only was he crushing on this guy, he also went on dates and messed around with his sister. So, he kind of created a nice mess for himself. 

William was due to arrive any minute and Sam order a pizza after he got out of the shower so they’d have something to eat while they sat around and watched movie. Or talked. Or bypassed the whole talk because he chickened out and decided to just let the crush do it’s thing and die out. If it did... 

He hated this.

Allie: Nah, since it's a personal account. Maybe that would be a good thing if it was focused on your dog, but since it's not, then variety is good

Allie: Not really, I love dogs in general, no matter what's their breed

SE: I know and I might! I'll see if it's something I can afford after the end of this year. Have to do the responsible thing when it comes to money.

SE: Both? What's wrong with wanting to have that before 30?

Blaine: ...Or the other guy who's apparently asked me to have dinner with him? I'm still not convinced that's legit, though.

Sam: Did you have dinner this weekend with Kurt? And the other guy? Why do you think it's not legit?

MATHIEU: Next time I get sick (which I hope is not any time soon, by the way), I'll let you know so you can drop off food and/or medicine for me.

MATHIEU: I'm not a pessimist, per se... I'd like to think of myself as an optimist a good 90% of the time. Sometimes, though... sometimes, I have one of those days where nothing goes right and I do find myself a pessimist.

MATHIEU: Of course.

SAM: I sure hope not! If you do get sick again then I'll think something is wrong with your immune system!

SAM: You can't think of just 1 good thing to think about when everything goes wrong? Tell you what. When you've got one of those days happening text me and I'll try to find the silver lining.

Blaine: It'll all work out somehow. Even if it's messy for a while first -- eventually you'll end up where you need to be, with who you need to be with.

Blaine: I did, actually. Sort of. I asked him if he wanted to get together sometime outside of where I work, at least. I just... haven't heard anything back.

Sam: I bet he'll say yes and when he does you've got to tell me what you have planned because I want to know!

Blaine: That's because you're a good guy, Sam Evans. Whoever you end up with is a lucky girl. Or guy.

Blaine: Um. Same story actually? Wanda sort of had me and one of her friends pose as an engaged couple and visit her at work for the whole nine yards - wine, cake, pictures, all that. He just happens to be one of my regular customers from work, too.

Sam: I just asked him to come by the store tomorrow after we close. I'm actually nervous about this but I don't know what has me this way. The whole sister thing? Doing something I've never done before? Learning I might be into guys or maybe just this guy? Or maybe just realizing it's one of those innocent crushes that doesn't go anywhere?

Sam: So why don't you ask him out? I'm taking a leap, you should think about toeing the edge a little and see if he'll go out and get drinks?

Blaine: ...That's a long potentially embarrassing story, trust me.

Sam: I won't. I dont like lying or making people think something. or leading them on. it sucks is all.

Sam: Speaking of Wanda she mentioned you had a fake fiance for a day? I want to hear about that and the other story.
