hi! what do you think about j'zargo? hes my follower in skyrim (i play console) and im curious about your opinion!! :D

Not sure how long ago I got this, but hey sure, why not answer it now?

J’zargo is and probably always will be the best follower available in Skyrim, at least on console. Sure, there are a lot of great followers in the main game and DLC, but the amount of work put into crafting J’zargo is stunning. From his little idiosyncrasies to his seemingly endless lines of dialogue, he makes a perfect travelling companion. His questline is a little buggy at times, but the amount of content he provides (functionality-wise as well (whistling commands are very fun from a roleplaying perspective)) makes up for it completely.

Oh, and his singing? The absolute best.

When you’re exploring and see a deep ravine or chasm, and you have plenty of cobblestone because of course you do, so you build a staircase down into it and go on a Ravine Adventure

When you’re far from home after a long, long journey and you’re trying to get back with your cargo and you’re worried you’ll never find your way back, but then you spot the light of the torches dotted around your base and that familiar front door greets you

Just started playing The Surge, and damnit those reviews I read when it came out didn’t do it justice. Sure, it plays like a clunkier, less polished Dark Souls but it’s really fun and has some really interesting concepts. Also, I’m really happy it allowed for complete control re-mapping on console, so that I could straight up play with Dark Souls controls :D

I’ve noticed recently that birds are not very villainous when it comes to being a companion to a character. Like, a character’s ominously petting a cat? Evil. Has a pack of hellish dogs? Evil. Snakes? Ayep, that’s right, evil. But birds? Even the traditionally death-related ones like ravens and such don’t give off that much of a bad-guy vibe.

#noticed while playing AC Origins #Bayek was looking all menacing during a cutscene #then when it ends Senu comes along and perches on his arm #and suddenly he's not so menacing anymore #and yeah he's not a villain regardless #but the point still stands

Some nice views from my first few days of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Well, the last one isn’t necessarily a nice view, but Bayek’s wearing nothing but two towels (around his waist and on his head) and I think doing a leap of faith dressed like that is a feat in and of itself.

FFXV SPOILERS YAY

Finished Final Fantasy XV today... the last few chapters definitely felt rushed as SO MUCH happened yet it felt like nothing did. The ending itself? Kinda sad, I guess (more the mid-credits scene where all the goodbyes happen) but chapter 10 where Ignis is blind and can’t move quickly or fight or anything, and keeps saying that he’ll recover with time but everyone knows he won’t- that shit’s sad. Would’ve liked more of those feels.

Also, really pissed I can’t play as older Noctis in past Lucis. Young Noctis looks stupid wearing the Kingly Raiment outfit, while older Noctis looks badass.
