When it comes to wearing fan merchandise, I personally typically don’t wear it. I feel as if fandom merchandise isn’t really my thing. I feel as if I am not the type of fan to wear merchandise to represent my interests. But when it does come to wearing fan merchandise I do make a few acceptions. Being I am from New York, I am a Giants fan so I will wear fan merchandise that coordinates to them during football season.
I haven’t watch episodes of a show multiple times due to the uncertainty of things and subjects going on in the show. But there is certain shows where I have watched them multiple times due to my fandom of the show or certain seasons that I would rewatch being for loving a cast on a certain season more than other seasons especially when it comes to watching reality television.
I am not a part of any fan communities. The only fan community I am a part of is participating in going to sports games because I am a huge fan of sports so I take part in my fandom by going to sports games and sharing my fandoms with other fans at the sports games. Sometimes I will take part in activities where I am sharing my fandom interests with other people. My roommate and I have similar fandoms of liking reality television so we will take part and watch shows together.
I haven’t created any type of fan work. When I was younger in middle school, I took part in fan work. When I was younger, I used to be fan of some beauty fashion YouTubers so I had a few fan Instagram accounts for them where I would share my interests and fandoms with other fans of those Instagrammers, have worn fan merchandise for them being one of them had started a clothing brand through Aeropostale way back then, and went to a meet and greet when the YouTubers were visiting my local mall.
Yes, I have followed important media figures on social media that align with certain fandoms. When it comes to following my fandom figures I usually follow my favorite stars that were on the reality television shows weather it was from Love Island, Jersey Shore, The Challenge, Are You The One, my favorite singers, and any sports teams. I like to follow them to see what’s going on in there lives and keeping up with any information that might be released about the shows, sports, new albums or concerts.
Yes, I sometimes do feel that fandom has has a psychological effect on me in positive ways. Some of the reality shows I watch give good advice out that helps me with my lifestyle.
Yes i do feel like this applies to my fandom. I feel as if I am an obsessive fandom rather than hysterical crowd. I feel this way because I keep to myself with my fandoms rather that being open spreading them openly. When I start fanning over something, its all my mind thinks about consuming all my thoughts. Sometimes its so bad because I will end up binge watching way too many episodes in one seating.,
