This is a passion project that we have been working on continuously since July, 2024. It takes place in a world much like our own, but with a twist of magic and fantasy. Our story starts in a fictionalized 1960's, just 10 years after peace deals had been brokered. Eight unlikely friends form bonds in their first years of boarding school, which are then tested through the years by the tribulations of war, societal expectations, and magical consequences.
This world and its characters are co-written by the authors of this blog, Johnny and Tommy. Cool brothers and such.
I’m John or Johnny (🦚)! I’m into poetry and like. literature and Star Wars and stuff! I like George Harrison, I’m in a band (sundayssins on instagram), and I got super into the 60s in summer of 2022, then it all kind of snowballed into my inspiration for these characters. They mean a lot to me considering I’ve spent a year and a half developing them and fleshing out who they are, building their lives up. I hope our work can be a reflection of the world and ourselves, and I hope it helps make you feel seen in some way. We’ve talked about creating this blog for forever and I’m really excited to share.
Hi, I'm Thomas or Tommy (🪲). I'm a soon-to-be college graduate in environmental science (wow). I love my chud cat, nerd biology shit, Paul McCartney, and being weird and stupid. Art and writing are definitely lifelong passions of mine, especially creating things with my brother. Developing these characters has meant a lot to me over the past few years, so I'm very excited to share them with whoever's willing to follow along!
