to all my tf2 fans out there: i really hope you’re taking the loss of Rick May alright. it’s really tough. and it’s okay to cry, even if you didn’t know him personally. it’s roughing me up too, especially because i’m a soldier main.

i’d like to do an SFM collab piece in honour of him. i’m sure a lot of us have loadouts that represent us, the player, in tf2. i’d like to have a piece with as many of us as we can fit, along with one stock soldier model. i think it’d be really nice as a tribute

Rest In Peace, rocket man. Rick May, the voice of the Soldier, one of the most genuinely likeable and funny characters in my first real big special interest, passed away from covid-19 today. Tried my best to do a little art in his honor. Thanks for bringing this guy to life for us all, man. You will be missed.

i just wanted to draw something for rick may. he sadly passed away today due to covid and it was really shocking to hear.

thank you mr. may for bringing such humor and energy to the tf2 community and for voicing such a timeless character. you will be dearly missed - rest in peace, sir!
