“fourteen years,” kallisto responded as she focused on the happier memories that resurfaced as the conversation continued. for now, she could only hold on to the hope that the collins family would be reunited sooner rather than later. “warren and i met when we were both fresh out of college, at our first proper job. we became friends then fell in love, got married, and became parents,” the witch recounted the highlights of their time together with a warm smile. “speaking from experience, that is one hundred percent true. there have been times where i did need to be the responsible parent instead of a friend figure yet jaxon is a bright boy who does eventually come around to understanding why the switch is necessary.”
